Sarasota Alliance Church

It's so easy to get caught up in our own little world and forget the vast world God created, loves and sent His Son to die for. It's so easy to get caught up in the here-and-now, and forget the eternal here-after. This week is our reminder of the rest of the world, and the eternal future toward which we are all headed. We call this week "Global Impact" because Christ's last command to His Church was to take the Good News to the ends of the earth. Our Theme is "Be Light" because God "has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son" (Colossians 1:13) and we are called to "Live as children of light" (Ephesians 5:8). This week we are privileged to hear from Raymond Ebbetts and Charlotte Hisle who are taking The Light to Spain and Portugal, where the spiritual darkness is intense. But every Christian is called to do their part, so that we together can make a Global Impact. Let's "Be Light!"
