Chrismas is For-Giving Part III
Sunday, 18 December 2011
Does anybody really live fully forgiven here on earth? Most of live, not just with the consequences of our sin, but with the guilt and the regret. In other words, we don't really receive the full and free forgiveness of God. Does our Heavenly Father really want His children to live that way?. Christmas is For-Giving is our 2011 Theme. God sent His Son to offer us the amazing, unbelievable freedom of forgiveness here on earth and throughout eternity. Let us turn to how we can "Move Forward Fully Forgiven."
Christmas is For-Giving Part II
Sunday, 11 December 2011
While the frenzy in America is giving and receiving gifts, the fact is there would be no Christmas at all if God had not given the greatest gift of all-His one and only Son. As we talked about last week... Christmas is God giving His underserved gift of Forgiveness to Us Us giving the underserved gift of Forgiveness to Others But how do we do that? What steps do we take? Doesn't the one who is most at fault have the responsibility to take the first step? These are the questions we tackle this week in Christmas is For-Giving, Part 2. Let's give the Birthday Boy (a.k.a. The Son of God, The King of kings, etc.) our worship this Sunday and our service everyday of our lives
Christmas is For-Giving
Sunday, 04 December 2011
What do children think about when they hear the word Christmas? Christmas presents! While many of us adults enjoy the time with family, the parties, the days off from work, the number one dynamic of Christmas for most is the gifts. Christmas is for giving. Christmas is For-Giving is our 2012 Christmas Theme, and as the title suggests we are going to talk about far more than the gifts we get on December 25 and return on December 26. We are going to talk about the greatest gift we have received and the greatest gift we can give others. I hope Christ will take center stage in your Christmas this year because He will be center stage in Heaven and He deserves to be put first and foremost every day.
