Traded to Another Team
Sunday, 30 October 2011
by
Pastor Ron Hiers
Passage:
Acts 4:36
&
Acts 11:20-26
It happened again last night...a walk-off-winning home World Series home run. How exciting. But what happens when, instead of being a walk-off-winner, you are made to feel like a walk-off-loser? Have you ever traded to another team, or let go... By a boss? By friends? By family? In Acts we read about a man named Barnabas who was traded away to another team, but instead of living the rest of his life like a walk-off-loser, he became a walk-off-winner for all of eternity. I think you will find his story very encouraging as we conclude our series "Walk-Off-Winners."

The Tenth Leper
Sunday, 23 October 2011
by
Pastor Mike Thompson
Passage:
Luke 17
Take a second and try to remember the last time you said thank you. When was it? A few minutes ago, yesterday, last week? What were you saying thank you for? Something simple or something big? Simply saying thank you isn't exactly the same thing as being thankful is it? We say thanks all the time and probably don't really mean it. Let's continue our series "Walk Off Winners" by talking about the story of the 10th leper in Luke 17. This is a guy who has this amazing interaction with Jesus and from that he teaches us all something about being thankful.

Picked Off First
Sunday, 16 October 2011
by
Pastor Ron Hiers
Could there be anything greater than hitting the walk-off-home run to win The World Series? Yes, being a walk-off-winner with God. God's Word is filled with the stories of ordinary men, women and young people like us who stepped up to the plate and did what God asked them to do. They are enshrined in God's Hall of Fame. The World Series' walk-off-winners will be forgotten, but those who serve God will not.
