We are all hostages. We are all sinners who are all held hostage by one or more sins in our life that keep us from all the joy and all the blessings of the Christian life. This week our focus is "Hostage to Lust." Lust is not just a male problem. Lust is not just a sex problem. Lust is, in reality, a problem we may be totally unaware of in our lives that hurts us far more than we realize. The great news is that Jesus Christ can set us free from being a hostage to lust. He wants to. He will.

We all get angry. There are things we should get angry at, and things we shouldn't. Do you know the difference? God does, and He tells us in His Word. Anger is not a sin. It is what we do with our anger that makes it 'righteous' or wrong. Jesus got angry. But what did He get angry at? And, what did He do with that anger? When we get angry we want to hurt those who are hurting us. When we get angry at the wrong things, or express our anger in a wrong way, then we may hurt those who are hurting us a little, but we hurt ourselves and those we love far more. As we continue our series "Hostage", lets go to God's Word to find out how to be set free from being a "Hostage to Anger."

This week we talked about bitterness, and the hold that it can have on us. Luckily for us God has provided a way to beat back the bitterness in our lives.
